Ralph Metschke will officiate. Karen passed away Sunday morning, June 21, 2015, at The Community Memorial Health Center in Burwell, NE. Karen was born on February 8, 1941, in Sioux Falls, SD, to Lloyd and Zetta (Zachariasen) Brooks. She graduated from O’Neill Public High School. On October 7, 1960, she married Willis Dean Sanders in O’Neill, NE; he passed away on May 10, 2007. They were married 47 years. Karen was a ranch wife, and she helped ranch and raise livestock in rural Holt County from 1956 until 2011, before moving to Ord, NE. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
