Description	:	Karen F. (Spencer) Lowry, 74, of Lafayette, passed away at 6:54 am, Sunday, February 14, 2016 at St. Elizabeth East Hospital. Born February 8, 1942 in Monon, IN, she was the daughter of the late Fern and Dessie (Johnson) Spencer. She married Benjamin W. Lowry and he preceded her in death December of 2008. Karen worked for Dunn & Hargitt in Lafayette as a data entry clerk for over 15 years. She enjoyed watching television and working on her computer. Karen loved her dog, PV. Born February 8, 1942 in Monon, IN, she was the daughter of the late Fern and Dessie (Johnson) Spencer. She married Benjamin W. Lowry and he preceded her in death December of 2008. Surviving is her son, Ben Lowry of Lafayette; and her sister, Betty Brown of Burlingame, CA. Preceding her in death with her parents and husband are her brothers, Gene and Jerry Spencer; sister, Enid Woodhouse. There will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society or the COPD Foundation.
