Read More	When Karen Kay Anderson was born on March 25, 1939, in Iowa City, Iowa, her father, Voyne John "Swede" Anderson, was 26 years old, and her mother, Thelma Irene Walden Anderson, was 22 years old. She lived in Council Bluffs, Iowa with her parents and sister most of her childhood. Karen had one older sister, Barbara Anderson. In 1946, her parents moved to the Los Angeles, CA area to look for work and live near family, then moved back to Council Bluffs, Iowa, in about 1947. She attended school at Thomas Jefferson High School in Council Bluffs, Iowa, where she meet her soon to be husband, Bob. She was 16 years old, when she married Robert Lee "Bob" Morse, 18 years old, on August 12, 1955, in Manawa, Pottawattamie, Iowa. They had seven children together and were happily married for 45 years. They lived in Council Bluffs, Iowa, for many years, but also lived in the Berkeley, CA area, when they were younger; in Union, NE, on their much loved farm and had retired in New Port Richey, FL. She enjoyed camping, fishing, cooking, farming, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Karen passed away on February 5, 2014, in Omaha, Nebraska, at the age of 74, and her grave site is located in Hazel Dell Cemetery, Council Bluffs, Iowa, shared with her husband, Robert Lee "Bob" Morse. Karen was a much loved wife, mother and daughter.
