Karl George Besser was born in Dresden, Germany on February 22, 1862. He came with his family when seventeen years old. Ten years after he arrived, George married Anna Tepe on June 20th. They had no children but raised five children who were orphaned by the death of Anna's mother. He died in 1992 and is buried in Saint John's Cemetery. #80837078 Obituary mentions another daughter Mrs. Andrew Smith from Rolla, Missouri. I cannot locate her grave.
