Description	:	Kate H. Baugher's maiden name was "SEEDS". She was born and died in Salem, Columbiana County, Ohio. Her death was a direct result of child birth complications. WIFE & MOTHER: Kate married Frank H. Baugher, s/o Nathan and Eliza OGLINE Baugher. His father was from the Salem area, his mother was born in Johnstown, Cambria County, PA. Frank's mother, 3 aunts and, grandmother had relocatied to Salem in 1854. Kate's sudden death was tragic for Frank Baugher who now had to care for his little infant daughter. After Frank's mother Eliza died in 1917, Helen and her dad carried on until she graduated high school. Daughter Helen Baugher married after high school to a Walter ZIEGLER in Salem, Ohio. By 1932 the couple decided to move west settling in Los Angeles. Knowing her father was ailing in health, he was invited to live with them in 1936. Kate's husband Frank Baugher died June 17, 1938 in Los Anegles in his daughters home. His body was returned by train back to Salem, Ohio for burial next to Kate in the Grandview Cemetery. MOTHER of 1 CHILD: + Helen Baugher b. 1901 md Walter Ziegler OBITUARY published May 11, 1901 in the Salem Daily News, Salem, Columbiana County, Ohio. Kate's age was 34 yrs, 6 mos, and 10 dys. She died 10 days after giving birth to her dau Helen.
