Katharina FORDERER was born Oct. 7, 1906, the daughter of Jacob and Barbara (Sayler) FORDERER, in Emmons County. She grew up and attended school in rural Emmons County. She married George C. Katharina FORDERER was born Oct. 7, 1906, the daughter of Jacob and Barbara (Sayler) FORDERER, in Emmons County. She grew up and attended school in rural Emmons County. She married George C. WAGNER, Jan. 17, 1928, in the Peace Lutheran Church parsonage in Linton. They farmed west of Linton until their retirement in 1988, when they moved into Linton. Her husband, George, died Oct. 20, 1993. Katharina was baptized at the family farm east of Linton, and was confirmed at Peace Lutheran Church, Linton, where she was a lifelong member. She also enjoyed the Centennial Celebration at Peace Lutheran Church in June 1999. Katharina enjoyed cooking, baking (especially cinnamon rolls for her family), reading and listening to German hymns. She was overjoyed when her family came to visit. She also was privileged to attend the ordination of her grandson, Allen WAGNER in June 1999. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter-in-law, Frances Wagner; one great-grandchild; one step-great-grandchild; three brothers, John, Edward and Frank; and two sisters, Emma and Emily. Mr. and Mrs. George C WAGNER had six children, 21 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. =============================
