Katharina married Jacob Kraft in Worms, Odessa, Russia, and after his death she accompanied her two sons, Edward Kraft (single) and Jacob Kraft, his wife, Anna Marie (Zimbelmann), and 2 grandchildren, Herman and Ed Kraft, to the USA. They were on the ship named "Dominion" and arrived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1913. She had six children: Johann, Pauline, Jacob, Edward, Christina and Emma. Katharina Kraft only has the base of headstone marking her grave, since the actual tombstone was removed. The death certificate and notation in the cemetery used Katharina Kittler, which was her name after marrying Jonathan Kittler at the age of 65.
