Born June 3, 1917, in Thompson Township, she was the daughter of Paul and Ethel (Goff) DiBell. A lifetime area resident, Mrs. Lane was a member of the Leon United Methodist Church, the Richmond Grange, and the 55 and Over Club. She was a 1935 Gustavus High School graduate. Burdick of Williamsfield, Carol D. Snyder of Pierpont Township, Barbara E. White of Linesville, Pa., Katherine M. Schmid of Hanoverton and Delores J. Jones of Glendale, Ariz.; two sisters, Arlene Vlock and Mildred Dresneck of Williamsfield; two brothers, Kenneth L. DiBell of Ashtabula and Richard E. DiBell of Williamsfield, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on Aug. 16, 1982; a son, Ronald E. Lane; two grandsons, Larry Burdick Jr. and Walter Ladner; an infant brother and sister; six brothers, Floyd, Neil, Robert, Paul, Edwin and Elwin DiBell, and a sister, Shirley Simons. Service is 11 a.m. Friday at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect St., Andover, with Sandra Payette officiating. Burial will be in Richmond Center Cemetery. Calling hours are 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
