Kenneth Burg of Hartwick officiating. Mrs. Forrest Shaull and Hollis Fish sang "Nearer My God to Thee" and "The Old Rugged Cross" accompanied by Mrs. George Keller. Interment was in the I.O.O.F. cemetery. Katherine Irene, daughter of Austin and Mary Gwin Felton, was born south of Victor Jan. 24, 1869, where she grew to womanhood. Interment was in the I.O.O.F. cemetery. Katherine Irene, daughter of Austin and Mary Gwin Felton, was born south of Victor Jan. 24, 1869, where she grew to womanhood. On Oct. 8, 1907, she was united in marriage to Charles Sherwood of Victor. To this union one son was born. They have made their home in Carnsforth for the last 20 years. Her health had been failing for three years. She had a stroke about a year ago and has since been confined to her home ever since. The end came Thursday morning. She leaves her husband; four sons, Bernard Mulhern of Newton, Fred Mulhern of Mason City, Max Lyman of Des Moines and Reno Lyman of Waterloo; one daughter, Mrs. Dell Scott, in Japan; 10 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Her parents, one son, four sisters and one brother preceded her in death.
