They came to Norfolk in 1900 and that same year she was married to George Eckhardt. He died on July 25, 1934. She was survived by her 4 sons: John Reisbig, Henry Reisbig, George Reisbig all at Norfolk; Conrad Reisbig in California; 4 step children 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 1 sister Mrs. Philip Schmer in Norfolk. "About seven years ago, Mrs. Eckhardt became blind and an invalid. Since then she has made her home with son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Henry Reisbig, Norfolk."
