She was educated in the Clinton school systems and was a legal secretary employed by Margaret Kolarik of Clinton, retiring in 1985. She was a member of Clinton Women's Club, Clinton Garden Club and Elvira Zion Lutheran Church. Survivors include a son, John A., of Clinton; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Maxine) Blessington, Mrs. Robert (Marilyn) Jackson and Mrs. Eugine (Shirley) Jackson , all of Clinton, Mrs. Edward (Audrey) Helfers of Des Plaines, Ill., and Mrs. Carl (Carolyn) Baty of Apple Valley, Calif,; and two brothers, Edward M. and Howard C. Duhr, both of Clinton. She was preceded in death by a daughter and a brother
