She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, July, 6, 2015. Katherine was a humble, Christian lady who always put her family and others before herself. Services for Katherine Knox will be held Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 11:30 A.M. in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with grandsons, Bro.Todd Gregory officiating and Jonathan Gregory playing the violin. Interment will be at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, Monroe LA. The family will receive friends from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service Mrs. Knox was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Norman H. Knox Jr.; Mother, Aline Burks; step-father, Harvey Burks; father, Walter Springfield; and her beloved son, Norman H. “Buster” Knox III; siblings, Adell Clark, W.H. Springfield, Marie Brady, and Jimmy Burks; Sisters-in-law, Winnie Terry Nelda Boultinghouse and Norma Jean Beatty; and dear friend Geneva Telford. She is survived by her daughters Patsy Knox Gregory and husband, Johnny of West Monroe and Kathy Knox of Baton Rouge; grandchildren, Todd Gregory (Donna), Brad Gregory (Amy), Alicia Street (Lee), Sara K. Leech (Dan), Rachel K. Lucas (Dean), Amy B. Kennedy (Rick) and Mathew W. Boyles (Sarah); thirteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
