Description	:	Daughter of Robert Bruce & Berniece Madaline (Belding) Enslow. She was born in Bryon, Nebraska. She and her family moved to Steinauer when she was 6 years old, where her father was postmaster. Several years later the family moved to Pawnee City where she attended school and graduated in 1924. She married in 1926 to Frank P. Fay, and they purchased the bakery. For the next 20 years they baked delicious rolls, cakes and breads and many came from other towns to enjoy their fare. She and her family moved to Steinauer when she was 6 years old, where her father was postmaster. Several years later the family moved to Pawnee City where she attended school and graduated in 1924. She married in 1926 to Frank P. Fay, and they purchased the bakery. For the next 20 years they baked delicious rolls, cakes and breads and many came from other towns to enjoy their fare. After they sold the bakery they moved across the street to the east where they owned and ran the Pawnee Hotel for 15 years before retiring. They adopted James Frank Fay when he was 10 years old in the spring of 1947. They loved to play golf, traveling and the guys enjoyed fishing trips. Katherine loved to play centrat bridge, duplicate bridge and other games. They were members of the First Baptist Church for years. Frank "Baker" Fay passed away in 1965. Katherine remarried in 1967 to Merl Cameron and they moved to Denver, CO. In 1980 they moved back to Pawnee City and 5 years later Merl passed away. Katherine remained in her home until her 95th birthday before moving to the Pawnee Manor where she celebrated her 105th birthday. Katherine was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary #168 of Pawnee City for 77 years. She truly loved people and they loved her. She did several good deeds a day as long as she could. She had two sisters, Georgia & Lucetta.
