Mrs. Adam Brossart Jr., of two miles south of Blue Grass, died at 4:45 o'clock yesterday at Bellevue hospital after a three weeks attack of septicemia. She was 29 years old. Mrs. Brossart, who was formerly Katherine Marie Petersen, was born Feb. 7, 1890 in Muscatine and up until the last two years practically lived her entire life here. Mrs. Brossart, who was formerly Katherine Marie Petersen, was born Feb. 7, 1890 in Muscatine and up until the last two years practically lived her entire life here. She married Adam Brossart, Jr. Feb. 12, 1912, to which union three children were born, one of who preceded the mother in death last summer. In the fall of 1917, the family moved to a farm two miles south of Blue Grass, and has resided there since. Besides the husband, she is survived by two children, Ruth Margaret Brossart and Glen Frederick Brossart, of near Blue Grass, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Petersen, Sr., of Sweetland township and six brothers, Carl Petersen with the American Expeditionary Forces in France, Henry Petersen, northeast of Wilton, Irving Petersen of Sweetland township, John, William and Fred Jr. Petersen of Muscatine. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon from the Fred Petersen Jr. home, 955 Fulliam avenue. Rev. Karl Michels of the Evangelical Protestant church will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery.
