Description	:	From the February 9, 1900 Skidmore Standard, page 4: "Katharine Noffsinger was born in Washington county, Ohio, December 10, 1817 and died at her home near Skidmore, Mo., February 2, 1900, aged 82 years, 1 month and 23 days. She was converted at the age of 17 years and joined the M. E. church March 4, 1842. She was married to John Clark who died 23 years ago. They moved to Nodaway county, Mo. in the spring of 1849 and in 1865 to the farm on which she has since lived and died. Three sons are left to mourn the loss of their... Read More	From the February 9, 1900 Skidmore Standard, page 4: "Katharine Noffsinger was born in Washington county, Ohio, December 10, 1817 and died at her home near Skidmore, Mo., February 2, 1900, aged 82 years, 1 month and 23 days. She was converted at the age of 17 years and joined the M. E. church March 4, 1842. She was married to John Clark who died 23 years ago. They moved to Nodaway county, Mo. in the spring of 1849 and in 1865 to the farm on which she has since lived and died. Three sons are left to mourn the loss of their best earthly friend. Two of these live near the old homestead and the third lives in Colorado. Mother Clark, with her husband, was among the handful of Methodists who were, some 25 years ago, organized into the Union Valley class from which came the present M. E. church of Skidmore. For over 6 years she was confined to her bed, but in all her suffering she found the Lord, with whom she walked for 65 years, had the grace to sustain. Like Enoch of old, she is not, for God took her."
