Wiliams Died Omaha, Jan. 27 Former Malvern Girl Brought Here for Burial Tuesday Afternoon ____________________________________________________ This community was shocked Sunday to learn of the sudden death of Mrs. James W. Williams at her home in Omaha. Mrs. Williams was a daughter of W.W. Tunison and a sister of Mrs. W.D. McCausland and spent her girlhood days in Malvern where she grew to womanood. She was a fine type of womanhood and greatly endeared herself to all with whom she came in contact by her kindly ways and generous help. She was a member of the Methodist church while here and worked in the Sunday school as a teacher and helped in many ways therein, ever willing to do her share and more where needed. She was brought to Malvern for burial and funeral services were held in the Mansfield Funeral chapel Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Paul H. Hicks of the Methodist church at Logan, a former pastor here and friend of the famly. A great profusion of beautiful flowers testified to the loving remembrance of friends and organizations. Vernon Bobbitt, accompanied by Miss Helen Jones, sang two solos. A large number of her old friends in Malvern and a goodly number from Omaha where in attendance at the services. Burial was in the Malvern cemetery by the side of her mother and sister who head preceded her in death. The pall bearers were Byron Demerest, A.H. Newell, Lou Long, W.T. Bredin, Vance Hrupek and Charles Voss, all of Omaha. Relatives from a distance attending were: Mr and Mrs Ralph Thomas of Chicago, Mr and Mrs Jack Hull of Kearney, Nebr., Mrs. Guy Shepard of Durango, Colo., and Mrs. Edna Harvey of Omaha. The following brief life sketch was read at the services: Katherine Tunison, second child of Mary and Willis Tunison was born Nov. 17,1887 and passed away at her home in Omaha, Jan. 27, 1934. On July 4, 1919 at Malvern she was united in marriage to James Webster Williams, and to this union one son was born, James Webster Jr., now twelve years of age. She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, son, James Jr., father and stepmother, four sisters, Mrs. W.D. McCausland of Malvern, Mrs. Edna Harvey of Omaha, Mrs. Agnes Shepard of Durango, Colo., and Mrs. Burnice Hull of Kearney, Nebr., and other relatives and friends, nubmered only by her acquaintainces. She was a kind wife and loving mother and will be greatly missed by those who needed her so much.
