Description	:	Kathleen Coble Cox, 89, of Oakboro, died Sunday, June 23, 2013 at her home. Funeral services will be held June 26 at 11 a.m. at Barbee's Grove Baptist Church in Oakboro, of which she was a member, with Rev. Phillip Smith and Rev. Wayne Austin officiating. Burial will follow at the Smith's Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Cox was a native of Stanly County, born to the late Shuford Baxter Coble and Myrtle "Burtle" Octa Whitley Coble. She was a homemaker and retired from Stanly Knitting Mills. She was also preceded in death by her husband Fred Cox Jr.; brother Ray...
