Description	:	Kathleen "Kathy" Delores (Lysaker) Heuer, age 69, of Crosby and formerly of Noonan, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2015, at St. Luke's Sunrise Care Center in Crosby. Kathy was born Oct. 21, 1945, the daughter of Thorstein "Tom" and Anna Lysaker, in Williston. The majority of her early life she lived on a farm outside of Wildrose. Read More	Kathleen "Kathy" Delores (Lysaker) Heuer, age 69, of Crosby and formerly of Noonan, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2015, at St. Luke's Sunrise Care Center in Crosby. Kathy was born Oct. 21, 1945, the daughter of Thorstein "Tom" and Anna Lysaker, in Williston. The majority of her early life she lived on a farm outside of Wildrose. She graduated from Wild- rose High School in 1963. She worked at the Wild- rose Mixer in Wildrose and moved to California for a brief time, before returning to North Dakota to live in Williston. She worked as a bookkeeper at a lumberyard and later as a receptionist at the Good Samartian Hospital, all in Williston. In 1968, she met Arlan Heuer. They were married Oct. 4, 1969, and moved to Noonan. She became a stepmom to Arlan's son, Tim. She was a mom to him like he was her very own. In 1970, she and Arlan became parents to Bradley and in 1972 to Shonna. She loved kids and raised the kids with barely raising her voice. Most of her married life she spent raising the kids, cooking and baking. She was known to always make enough food for an army. Her recipes were never written for a small group of people. They are written for a group of 20+ people. She never wanted to run out of food for people and she always had the coffee pot on for company who would stop by the farm to visit. After the kids grew up, she worked at various places as a cook. After she and Arlan retired, they spent their winters in Arizona. She loved going to Arizona. She loved to smile and laugh. There isn't a person who would say otherwise. She loved everybody and they loved her. Even up to her last moments, she was still laughing, smiling and joking around. She never wanted to be a burden to anybody everybody always came first in her eyes. She absolutely loved animals cats and dogs in particular. If she could have, she would have had a farm and house full of cats. She entered the St. Luke's Sunrise Care Center in March 2015 and received exceptional care. She will be dearly missed by her family. Kathy is survived by: her husband, Arlan of Crosby; sons, Tim and Brad of Noonan; daughter, Shonna (Zach) of Noonan; two stepgrandsons, Gil (Teresa) of Minnesota and Mitch of Fargo; sisters, Myrtle Raynor of Oregon, Eloise Thorson of McGregor; brothers, Sidney (Eileen) of Wisconsin and John (Marlys) of Oregon; brother-in-law, Bob (Leona) of Noonan; sister-in- law, Donna Ramberg of Tioga; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her parents; sisters, Harriet Sundsrud and infant sister Bernice; brothers, Malcolm and Allen; brothers-in-law, Bob Raynor, Jeff Sundsrud and Marvin Thorson; and sister-in-law, Donna Lysaker.
