Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 29, 2012, at Bethel Lutheran Church, Bismarck, with Rev. Tim Jenks officiating. Burial will be in Beulah Cemetery, Beulah, North Dakota. Visitation is scheduled for one hour prior to the service at the church. Kathleen was born March 26, 1949, at Bismarck, to Benjamin and Violet (Wiedrich) Jose. She was raised and educated in Beulah, where she graduated from high school. She attended Bismarck State College and earned an Associate Arts and Medical Secretary certificate, she also attended Rasmussen College and graduated with a Medical Coding certificate. Kathleen worked as a medical secretary for Medcenter One from 1969 to 2000. She then worked in Home Health Care for various agencies until her full retirement in 2009. She was like a mother to Jeremy and Teresa's family and enjoyed activities with her five great-nieces and one great-nephew. She especially she loved church activities at Bethel Lutheran and Holy Cross. Kathleen took pleasure in her pets, three dogs and one cat, and her hobbies, ceramics, crocheting, and reading. She is survived by four sisters, Sandra (Lonny) Buchmann, Judy Jose, Joette (Lesly) Buchmann, all of Beulah, and Janel Patchen, Bismarck; two brothers, Harley (Debra) Jose, Dickinson, Donald (Cheryl) Jose, Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin; five nieces; seven nephews, and five great-nieces, Samantha Stewart, Sasha Leuwer, Jazlynn Jose, Keanna Nation, Madison Jose, great-nephew, Brayden Geir; and longtime friend, Genevieve Trautman. Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethel Lutheran Church or Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
