Description	:	Mrs. Kathleen Haughawout of Toiowa, N.J., passed away Sunday March 5, 1967 at Paterson General Hospital, Paterson, N.J. She was 72. Mrs Haughawout was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Sisler, early Fillmore county settlers. Mr. Sisler operated a store in Geneva many years and later served several terms as county clerk. Read More	Mrs. Kathleen Haughawout of Toiowa, N.J., passed away Sunday March 5, 1967 at Paterson General Hospital, Paterson, N.J. She was 72. Mrs Haughawout was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Sisler, early Fillmore county settlers. Mr. Sisler operated a store in Geneva many years and later served several terms as county clerk. Mrs. Haughawout grew up in Geneva and graduated from high school in 1913. Mrs. Haughawout then entered Clarkson Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, graduating in 1919. She received her registered nurse certificate a short time alter. She did graduate work in public health nursing at the University of California and Columbia university, New York. She was married to Frank Haughawout and they made their home in New Jersey. Mr. Haughawout was a member of a pioneer Farimont family, his father being one of the early county surveyors. Mrs. Haughawout participated in many activities. She was named camp nurse at Camp Christmas Seal in New Jersey in 1932 and in 1942, she became director of the camp, operated by the Tuberculosis associoation. In 1956, she was named the Association's program assistant. She aided the Canser Society many years. She was president of the Paterson Zonta club two years, was a trustee and former treasurer of the T.W.C.A. and secretary of the Passatic County Community Council. She was honored for her service to the community at a testimonial dinner attended by more than 100 persons, January 18th. Mrs. Haughawout is survived by a sister, Mrs. Rebanis Dill of Alexandria, a nephew, William Dill of Valentine, and a niece, Mrs. Dale (Kathleen) Winder. Her husband predeceased her. Funeral services were conducted at Paterson March 8, with interment in the Fairmont cemetery at 11 a.m. Friday, March 10. Rev. Mr. Harrick of the Hebron Episcopal church officiated.
