Otting, Bernard, to St. Patrick's Church, North Garryowen. Rev. Patrick Malone officiated. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery. Mrs. Otting died Friday afternoon at the home of her son, Raymond, after an illness of two months. A lifelong resident of this county, she was a member of St. Patrick's Church, North Garryowen, and the Rosary Society of that parish. Survivors are ten children, Henry Otting, Farley; Mrs. Joseph (Agnes) McCarthy, Bernard; Leo Otting, Cascade; Mrs. Thomas (Loretta) Cashman, Monticello; Raymond and John Otting, Bernard, Mrs. Cyril (Rosabella) Schmitt, Bernard; Joseph P. Otting, Bernard; Mrs. Andrew (Helen) Laban, Bernard, and Mrs. Lloyd (Elda) Takes, Bernard; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Achen, Burmily, British Columbia; Mrs. Anna Aschtgen, Dyersville; and Mrs. Mae Ackerman, Farmington, Minn., two brothers, Henry Ressler, Scio, Oregon, and Christopher Ressler, Cascade; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband on June 30, 1931, her parents; three daughters; two sisters; and one brother. Till and Didesch Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
