Description	:	Kathryn E. Wichhart, 94, of Keosauqua, died at 4 am Friday, Feb. 25, 2011, at Good Samaritan Society-Van Buren Hospice, Keosauqua. She was born May 1, 1916, at Fairfield to Thomas and Nellie Stark Pollock and married Roy Wichhart May 12, 1937, at Lancaster, Mo. He died April 28, 1985. They lived in Fairfield, moved to their farm near Keosauqua in 1956 and to town in 1974. Kathryn was a homemaker, housekeeping supervisor at Van Buren Good Smaritan Center and cared for elderly people in their homes. She was a member of Keosauqua United Methodist Church. Surviving are a son, Gary Wichhart(Marcia)of Rockford, Ill.; three daughters, Diane Bartholomew(Larry)and Rose Mary Charbonneau(Ray)of Keosauqua and Christine Wiley(Bob)of Lees Summit, Mo.; two daughters-in-law, Vicki Wichhart of Bonaparte and Nancy Wichhart of McHenry, Ill.; 21 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Doris Scoles of Marion; other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Don and Thomas Wichhart; and a great-grandson. Funeral services will be 10:30 am Monday in Keosauqua United Methodist Church; Rev. Douglas Harding officiating. Burial will be in Purdom Cemetery, Keosauqua. Visitation will open at 2 pm Sunday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua with family present from 3-5 pm. Memorials to Keosauqua United Methodist Church or Keosauqua Fire Dept.
