Description	:	Kathryn Louise Glesener was born on August 15, 1927 in Jackson County, Iowa, to John Peter and Nora Charlotte (Damman) Glesener. She was a 1945 graduate of Maquoketa High School. She married Warren G. "Jack" Crouch on August 27, 1947 in Maquoketa, Iowa. To this union four children were born: Karen, Debra, Nancy and Warren. Kathryn had first worked for Kirchhoff's in Maquoketa followed by Rasmussen Motors. She then became the secretary and managing bookkeeper for Clinton Engines Credit Union, and lastly for over 25 years for Production Credit Association (Farm Credit Services) until retirement. She was a 1945 graduate of Maquoketa High School. She married Warren G. "Jack" Crouch on August 27, 1947 in Maquoketa, Iowa. To this union four children were born: Karen, Debra, Nancy and Warren. Kathryn had first worked for Kirchhoff's in Maquoketa followed by Rasmussen Motors. She then became the secretary and managing bookkeeper for Clinton Engines Credit Union, and lastly for over 25 years for Production Credit Association (Farm Credit Services) until retirement. Since 1957 Kathryn had been an active member of the First Baptist Church in Maquoketa where she had served on many boards and committees. She had also served as the past president of the American Baptist Women Missionaries. In earlier years she had served as a Girl Scout leader and a Cub Scout Den Mother. She loved her family, enjoyed family get-togethers, fishing, planting and growing flowers, sewing and making quilts, scrapbooking, word puzzles, bird watching and wildlife, and riding horses in her younger years. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Nancy Reka Crouch in 1987, a brother Jack Glesener, sisters Helen Beedle and Phyllis McMurtry, and a grandson Christopher Michael Shady in 2012.
