She had been ill 15 months. Mrs. Jensen was 69, born May 28, 1887, in Eive, Denmark. She and her family came to the U.S. when she was six. Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. Nels Jensen. She had been a resident of Story County 21 years. She worked at Ames Laundry for the past 11 years. She was married to Jens Jensen March 10, 1910 at Harlan. She was a member of the Lutheran Church, VFW Auxiliary and Rebekah Lodge. Survivors are four daughters -- Mrs. Lillian Stromberg, Nevada; Mrs. Charles (Edna) Zitzman, Long Beach, Calif.; Mrs. Gerald (Arlene) Beckley, Nevada, and Mrs. Kenneth (Hazel) Taylor, Ames; son Marvin, Des Moines; two sisters and three brothers; and 15 grandchildren. The body will be at Ryan Funeral Home, Nevada, until time of service at Memorial Lutheran Church, Nevada, Tuesday at 2 p.m. The Rev. E. P. Windman will officiate. Burial will be in Nevada Cemetery.
