Description	:	Kathryn M. Moseman, 82, of Grand Island, formerly of Wood River, died Friday, Dec. 23, 2016, at Bryan East Medical Center in Lincoln. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2016, at Apfel Funeral Home in Grand Island with the Rev. Kelly Karges officiating. Burial will be in the Wood River Cemetery. Kathryn Marie Moseman was born Feb. 5, 1934, at Wood River, the daughter of Arthur and Olga M. (Dellert) Mead. She grew up in Wood River, graduating from Wood River High School with the class of 1951. She graduated from Central Community College in the nursing program and later attended Kearney State College and the University of Nebraska to obtain her registered nurse degree. She was employed at St. Francis Medical Center for 20 years and Good Samaritan for 11 years as the MDS Coordinator. She retired in 2006 from Good Samaritan. She was united in marriage to Fred J. Hartman at Wood River. She later married Verne R. Moseman on Aug. 23, 1981, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Grand Island. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Grand Island. Those left to cherish her memory include two sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Kay Hartman of Tecumseh and Rick and Lynn Hartman of Beatrice, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Olga Mead; her brother, Norman Mead; and her husband, Verne Moseman.
