Description	:	WAVERLY Kathryn Sutton, 87, Waverly, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009 in Lincoln with her daughter Sue by her side. She was born Dec. 21, 1922 in rural Ashland to Louis and Ola (Breedon) McReynolds. On Dec. 23, 1941 she was united in marriage to Wayne E. Sutton at her parents home near Ashland. Before moving to Waverly in 2006, Kathryn and Wayne lived on a farm near Greenwood for 42 years. She was an active member of the Cedar Hill Methodist Church and community. She enjoyed being outdoors, taking long walks and treating birds to fresh water and food.... She is survived by her children and spouses, Alan and Maureen Sutton, Greenwood; Linda Churchill, New Brighton, Minn.; Richard and Shirley Sutton, Lincoln; Sue Hill, Waverly; nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Kathy McReynolds, Albuquerque, N.M.; Frank and Carolyn McReynolds, Tucson, Ariz., sisters-in-law, Marjorie McReynolds, Pullman, Wash. and Dorothy Sutton, Mesa, Ariz.; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, sister, Louise Stephens and brother, William McReynolds. Visitation is Sunday, Jan. 3, 3 to 6 p.m. at Marcy Mortuary in Ashland. Services will be held Monday, Jan. 4, at the First United Methodist Church in Waverly with Pastor John Ewton officiating. Honorary bearers are grandsons, Matthew Hill, Mark Hill, Andrew Hill, Shane Sutton, Steve Ling and nephew, Dale McReynolds. A private family burial will be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Greenwood. Memorials may be given to the Cedar Hill Methodist Church or People's City Mission in Lincoln. Arrangements by Marcy Mortuary, Ashland.
