Description	:	Kathryn Schultz, known to her family and friends as Kay, age 90, of Bridgewater, SD, and formerly of Tulsa, OK, passed away on the 10th day of July, 2015 at Diamond Care Center in Bridgewater, SD. Read More	Kathryn Schultz, known to her family and friends as Kay, age 90, of Bridgewater, SD, and formerly of Tulsa, OK, passed away on the 10th day of July, 2015 at Diamond Care Center in Bridgewater, SD. She has put on her heavenly body – she has fought the good fight. She is now safe and whole in the arms of her heavenly Father. Kathryn lived her life knowing she had a personal Saviour, Jesus Christ. She lived and loved Psalms 73:26 which says, “My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” A graveside service will be held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Spencer, SD, on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Kathryn Schultz was born on December 29, 1924 to Carl and Mildred (Holmberg) Angster in Wausa, NE. She graduated from Wausa High School in 1942. Kathryn married the late Leslie Schultz on January 6, 1946 in Wausa, NE. Kathryn lived in Omaha, NE until 1970, when she and her husband moved to Tulsa, OK where they spent the next 40 years. In 2010, they moved to Bridgewater, SD to spend the last years of their lives near their youngest daughter and her family. She had 67 years with her husband before his recent passing. Kathryn attended Keystone Bible Chapel in Omaha, NE and East Tulsa Bible Chapel in Tulsa, OK. Her life's focus was her beloved family that she loved so dearly, and she enjoyed cooking, sewing, embroidery, friends, and poetry. Kathryn’s faith was the center of her strength and character since before she was married. Grateful for having shared Kathryn’s life are: her son, Les J. (Randee) Schultz, of Price, UT; her daughters, Eileen K. Petersen, of The Colony, TX; Lois A. (Marlan) Bintliff, of Bridgewater, SD; and, her sister, Carolyn Collar, of Omaha, NE. She is also survived by her precious grandchildren: Chris (Heather) Petersen, Sharon (Brad) Knowles-Goff, Elizabeth (James) Thornburg, Chris Bintliff, Karl (Brandy) Schultz, Richard “Casey” (Kayla) Schultz, Keith (Rona) Welton, Jim (Wendy) Welton, and twelve great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Leslie; one sister, Gerayne Adkins; and her brother, Carl Angster. The family expresses great gratitude and love to the amazing nurses and very caring aids at Diamond Care Center in Bridgewater, SD who facilitated Kathryn’s final years. They have been kind and tender-hearted to both Les and Kathryn during their time at Diamond Care. The family will always be grateful for the Diamond Care staff and their endless, selfless care.
