Description	:	Kathryn was born on June 1, 1921 to John and Helen (Lehmkuhl) Snyder of Waco, NE. She grew up on the family farm in Waco, helping with milking the cows and raising Percheon horses. Kathryn graduated from Waco High School in Waco, NE. On March 8, 1941, she was united in marriage to Gerald Hobson in Beatrice, NE. They lived in Waco until 1964 at which time they moved to Seward, NE. Kathryn cooked for many years at various restaurants. She also owned the Hobson Sportsman where she was famous for her chili & “Sportsman Special”. When she wasn't cooking, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Kathryn also loved her dogs. While at home she always had one or two dogs by her side. Kathryn passed away on March 6, 2015 in York, NE at the age of 93 years, 9 months and 5 days. She is survived by her daughter; daughter-in-law; brother,three grandson's, two granddaughter's, five great-grandson's and four greatgranddaughter's. Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents, John and Helen Snyder; husband, Gerald Hobson; sisters, Dorothy Burhoop, Helen Wiswell, Pauline Glisan; daughter, Joyce Hobson; son, Gary Hobson.
