Read More	Mrs. Kathy Gayle Kirby Owens 62, wife of Mr. George E. Owens Jr. of 608 Happy Valley Rd. Union SC died Sunday evening October 9th 2011 at her home. Born July 22nd 1949 a daughter of the late George W. and Margie Birch Kirby. Mrs. Owens was a member of New Beginnings Christian Fellowship Church in Pacolet S.C. and was the Co-Founder and Chairman of The Board of The Union County Pregnancy Center Survivors in addition to her husband are one son Neil Owens (Shannon) of Greenville S.C., two daughters Lisa Hartley (Scott), of Union, Kristi Prather (Jason) of Durham N.C., three grandchildren Hannah Hartley, Brandon Owens, Jonathan Prather, and a step sister Frances Fowler (Eddie). She was preceded in death by her Step Father James Patterson and a Step Sister Patricia Patterson. Funeral services will be held Tuesday October 11th 2011 at The Lewis Funeral Home Chapel at 4pm with Pastor Rudy Lowe and Pastor Lisa Spencer officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 3-4 pm prior to the service. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to The Union County Pregnancy Center, PO Box 1064 Union SC 29379 The Lewis Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
