Description	:	Ms. Kaye Lawson, age 51, formerly of Jonesville, died Tuesday, November 26, 2002 at 12:40 p.m. in Brookview Health Care in Gaffney after an extended illness. Ms. Lawson was born in Union on January 4, 1951, a daughter of the late J. W. and Carol Finley Lawson. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Union. Ms. Lawson was a graduate of Union High School and was formerly employed with Sams Club, Liberty National Ins. Co., and Grand Furniture Co. of Spartanburg. Ms. Lawson was born in Union on January 4, 1951, a daughter of the late J. W. and Carol Finley Lawson. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Union. Ms. Lawson was a graduate of Union High School and was formerly employed with Sams Club, Liberty National Ins. Co., and Grand Furniture Co. of Spartanburg. Surviving are two Aunts, Maggie Lawson Alverson and Evelyn Finley Vanderford, both of Union; an Uncle, Claude Finley and his wife Mary, of Union; two special friends, Terry Price of Spartanburg and Lois Honness of Virginia. Ms. Lawson was pre-deceased by a sister, Rebecca L. Gilliam. Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday at Union Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be James Bubba Harvey, Jr., Wayne Sanders, Tommy Fowler, Raymond Spradlin, Michael Price, Jr. and Dwayne Tharpe. The body will remain at the funeral home where the family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. The family will be at their respective homes. Memorials may be made to the Union County Cancer Service, c/o Ola Jean Kelly, 117 Fant Lane, Union, SC 29379. The S. R. Holcombe Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
