Description	:	Keith "Skeeter" Erickson, 71, a longtime Williston resident, passed away Dec. 29, 2004, at a Minot hospital, of natural causes. Services were held Jan. 5 at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Williston, with the Rev. April Peterson officiating. A second service will be celebrated at 11 a.m. today, Jan. 7, at Grace Lutheran Church, Driscoll, with the Rev. Jo Pfennig officiating. Interment will be in the Driscoll Cemetery. A second service will be celebrated at 11 a.m. today, Jan. 7, at Grace Lutheran Church, Driscoll, with the Rev. Jo Pfennig officiating. Interment will be in the Driscoll Cemetery. Keith Erickson was the third of four children born to Carl and Olga (Pederson) Erickson. He was born Sept. 6, 1933, in a shingle shack in Driscoll. He was raised and educated there, graduating with the class of 1953. He also attended NDSU of Fargo, where he studied agriculture. In 1957, he met and married Joyce Morast in Driscoll. In 1958, they moved to Williston where he worked for his brother-in-law on the farm. He then worked for Waukesha for two years, United Auto Parts for 19 1/2 years, Stockmen Motors for two years, and Thomas Auto Supply for 14 years. Keith and Joyce moved to New Salem in 1994 and bought Our Place Bar where they lived and worked for 9 1/2 years; after which they retired and moved back to Williston due to health difficulties. Keith was a member of the American Legion for many years. He enjoyed his family, friends, fishing, gardening, his riding lawn mower, and just plain picking on people. If there was a joke, he wanted to be a part of it. He participated at Good Shepherd and Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. Keith is survived by his wife, Joyce; his daughter and her family, Kay Erickson and her friend, Myron Shroeder, and their daughter, Teanna, all of Williston, and her son, DeJay Falcon and his wife, Laura, and their daughter, Josie Rae, Thornton, Colo.; his son, James Erickson and his wife, Pamela, Mandan, and their children, Jonathon, Boscobel, Wis., Jessica, Jacob, Jordan and their granddaughter, Lyseaunna, all of Mandan; his daughter, Kathy Brighham and her husband, Jeff, and her children, Bradley and Spencer Kjorstad, all of Williston; his daughter, Karen Salveson and her husband, Ward, and their children, Casey, Branden, Austin and Marisa, all of Williston; his brother and sister-in-law, Gordon and Vi Erickson, Bismarck; his sister and brother-in-law, Colleen (Coke) and Ardean Aafedt, Williston and Arizona; his baby sister and brother-in-law, Rosalie and Herb Fried, Bismarck; along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins. Preceding Keith in death were his parents; one daughter, Cheryl Ann; one son, Quentin Keith; one granddaughter, Amanda Joy Erickson, and one great-granddaughter, Jaley Grace Falcon.
