Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, Nov. 7, 2005 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1620 Milwaukee Ave. N.E., Aberdeen, with Rev. Jeff Whillock officiating. Keith Millard was born Dec. 6, 1917 at Crookston, Minn. to Albert and Maud Mary (Norman) Millard. From there, the family moved to a farm in the Mason City, Iowa area, where Keith attended school. He then moved to South Dakota and began working at the Lincoln Ranch. On Dec. 19, 1940, Keith married Lillian Libis at Huron, S.D. He became employed at Spauling Auto Company, where he worked for most of his life as an electrician and mechanic. After he retired, he worked part-time hauling mail for Disco and driving a school bus. Keith was a life-long member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. He enjoyed flying and obtained his pilot's license from Aberdeen Flying Service. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time in the outdoors. He loved dogs, especially his dog, "Shadow", who came with Steve to see him every day at ManorCare. He attended sporting events, especially supporting the NSU volleyball and basketball teams. Keith was thankful for having all his coffee buddies stop and visit him at the Manor. Survivors include his wife, Lillian; one son, Steve (Lisa) Millard; one daughter, Brenda (Carl) Kline; one brother, Raymond (Ginger) Millard; one sister, Lois Muth; two grandchildren, David (Beth) Kline and Tami (Lee) Hanson and five great-grandchildren, Connor, Mallory and Chase Hanson and Jackson and Cameron Kline. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and one sister. Casket bearers will be Erv Marzolf, Nairn Hermansen, Mark Caven, Jim Caven, Keith Ringgenberg, and Ron Mastel.
