He was born on February 25, 1933 in Burket, Indiana to Margaret (Holloway) Spangle and Owen F. Spangle. He was married on May 1, 1954 to Beverly “Joan” (Gall) Spangle. He was born on February 25, 1933 in Burket, Indiana to Margaret (Holloway) Spangle and Owen F. Spangle. He was married on May 1, 1954 to Beverly “Joan” (Gall) Spangle. They were married for 58 years before she passed away on April 27, 2012. Ken was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana where he was a 1952 graduate of Silver Lake High School in Silver Lake, Indiana. He was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1953 and served in the Korean Conflict until his honorable discharge in 1955. He was a yard foreman for Miller & Son’s Lumber Company in Silver Lake for over 30 years. Ken was a retired gentleman farmer until his passing. He was a devoted husband, a beautiful father and grandfather and will be sadly missed and forever loved. He will be lovingly remembered by his two Daughters: Cindy (husband Morris) Jones (Silver Lake, Indiana); Sharon (husband Jon) Lynch (Silver Lake, Indiana); and two Sons: James (wife Heidi) Spangle (Fort Wayne, Indiana); Dan Spangle (Silver Lake, Indiana). He leaves behind eight grandchildren: Joshua (wife Sarah) Spangle (Warsaw, Indiana); Ryann Jones (Indianapolis, Indiana); Amy (husband Brett) Leach (Sidney, Indiana); Nicholas Spangle (Warsaw, Indiana); Morgan (Daniel) Martin (Brownsburg, Indiana); Austin Jones (Silver Lake, Indiana); Tanner Spangle (Warsaw, Indiana); Emily Lynch (Silver Lake, Indiana); and three great-grandchildren: Vivienne and Max Spangle (both of Warsaw); and Taytum Martin (Brownsburg, Indiana).
