He was baptized in Sheyenne Lutheran Church, and confirmed in the Pekin Lutheran Church. He was united in marriage to Leona Vangen on June 2, 1946 at Binford, ND, where he has farmed since 1951. Olson Kenneth Olson was born near Pekin, North Dakota, in Nelson County on Oct. 6, 1923, where he attended school and graduated from high school. He was baptized in Sheyenne Lutheran Church, and confirmed in the Pekin Lutheran Church. He was united in marriage to Leona Vangen on June 2, 1946 at Binford, ND, where he has farmed since 1951. He served on the Binford School Board, and Griggs County Social Service Board for several years. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Surviving are his wife, Leona, one son Lance of Columbus, Ohio, one daughter, Mrs. Michael (Karen) Rheinschmnidt, of Puyallup, Washington, two grandchildren, four sisters and four brothers, Olive, Pekin; Mrs. Harold (Delorice) Johnson, Tolna; Mrs. Oscar (Stella) Olson, Hayward, Wisc.; Mrs. Walter (Blanche) Stygar, Milwaukee, Wisc.; Frank, Fargo; Willard, Lake City, Minn.; Albert, Minnewauken; and Alf, Dighton, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and one sister. Funeral services were Saturday, June 16, 1984 at 10:30 a.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church Binford, ND.
