They resided in West Point where he owned a refrigeration repair business. After moving to Omaha in 1970, he accepted a position at Parker Heating & Cooling. In 1972 he began a 20-year career as an electrician for O.P.P.D. He was a member of St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church, Omaha, where he served as a trustee, and E.M.E., and a KC member. He was previously a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church where he was a parish council president, a confirmation coordinator and an E.M.E. Survivors include his wife, Clarice; daughter, Kristin; son, Troy, all of Omaha; parents Leo and Martha Kaup, West Point; sister, Leona (Paul) Meister, Fremont; and brothers, Ed, Gary, Jerome, and Allen all of West Point.
