Description	:	Kenneth D. Tucker, 80 of Sioux Falls, SD, passed away at Sanford Heart Hospital, Sioux Falls SD on Thursday September 17, 2015. Ken was born November 23, 1934 to Dallas Arville and Malo (Conn) Tucker in Madison, SD. He was graduated from Madison Central High School. Read More	Kenneth D. Tucker, 80 of Sioux Falls, SD, passed away at Sanford Heart Hospital, Sioux Falls SD on Thursday September 17, 2015. Ken was born November 23, 1934 to Dallas Arville and Malo (Conn) Tucker in Madison, SD. He was graduated from Madison Central High School. Following graduation he served in the United States Army for three years as an intelligence recon interpreter in Europe. Ken and Joanne Maguire were married April 28, 1962 and were blessed with three sons; Bruce David, Miller, SD; Brian John (Jennifer), Parker, Co; and Bret Dallas (Kathy), Concord, MA. He thrived on his lifelong career in the grocery business which culminated with ownership of Tucker's Super Valu in Miller, SD. Ken and Jo were very grateful for the opportunity to design and build a new supermarket in Miller which was first occupied in 1992. Following retirement in 2000 Ken and Jo enjoyed spending their winter months in Arizona and spending time with their children and grandchildren. Ken was an avid golfer and outdoorsman and in recent years enjoyed honing his skills on the guitar. He was survived by his sister, Connie (Thomas) Pardy, Howard, SD; and brothers, Bud, Raymond, WA; and Roger (Becky) of Riverside, CA; grandchildren Ashton and Kellon of South Dakota; Gregory and Nathan of Colorado, and Joseph and Owen of Massachusetts. Ken was predeceased by his parents and brothers Gene and Glenn. A celebration of Ken's life was Saturday, October 3 at Heritage Funeral Home, Sioux Falls. Heritagesfsd.com
