He was born Mar. 14, 1913, at Laddsdale, Iowa, to Ira and Georgia Belle Dial Goodwin. He was born Mar. 14, 1913, at Laddsdale, Iowa, to Ira and Georgia Belle Dial Goodwin. He is survived by a son, Kurt D. of Aurora, Minn.; a daughter, Karen Martinson of Embarass [sic], Minn.; five grandchildren; a brother, Joseph of Ottumwa; three sisters, Eunice, Lucille and Gladys Goodwin of Ottumwa. He was preceded in death by two sons, Karl Daniel and Kaye Dial Goodwin. The service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Virginia, Minn. The service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Reece Funeral Home, the Rev. A.D. Pringle of the Ottumwa Baptist Temple officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery. Pallbearers will be George Lang, Paul George, Chet Sheets, George Hampton, Robert Boyd and Robert Workman. Visitation is after 1 p.m. today.
