Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Boniface Catholic Church. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present at 7 p.m., at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. He graduated from Jefferson High School in 1941. He married Joyce Vreugdenhil on April 15, 1942, at St. Vincent's De Paul Church in Rogers, Ark. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was in insurance and auto sales most of his life. After his retirement, he was in the restaurant business. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church since 1942. He was a past member of the Eagles and Moose Lodge. He was an avid bowler and golfer. He loved singing and doing crossword puzzles. Survivors include a son, Ken Clark of Knoxville, Iowa; three daughters, Sherry Bruneau and Debbie and her husband, Warren Clemon of Sioux City and Cindy Olson of Council Bluffs, Iowa; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a brother, Roland Clark of Rogers, Ark.; three sisters, Shirley and her husband, Gene Gonsales of Mountain Home, Ark., Marilyn Eranscum and her husband of Branson, Mo.; and JoAnn Dodd of Sioux Falls, S.D.; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepmother; his wife, Joyce; a son, Mike; a sister, LaVerne; two brothers, Wilbur and Donald in infancy; a brother-in-law, Clyde Wilson; and a son-in-law, Dick Bruneau. Pallbearers will be his grandchildren. Sioux City Journal
