Born April 9, 1898 in Shawtown, he was the son of Charles Benjamin and Lavina Myrtle (McAtee) Baney. In 1916, he married Lucille B. Reese, who survives. Born April 9, 1898 in Shawtown, he was the son of Charles Benjamin and Lavina Myrtle (McAtee) Baney. In 1916, he married Lucille B. Reese, who survives. Also surviving is a son, Harold E. of Route 5; a brother, Virgil of 1232 Summit St.; a sister, Mrs. Theron Roth of 729 Carnahan Ave.; four grandchildren; and one great-granddchild. One brother preceded him in death. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Coldren Funeral Home, with burial in McComb Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home where friends may call after 7 p.m. today.
