Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 20 in the Binford school gymnasium. Mr. Edlund was born in St. Paul, Minn., January 19, 1905, son of the late John and Carried Edlund. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 20 in the Binford school gymnasium. Mr. Edlund was born in St. Paul, Minn., January 19, 1905, son of the late John and Carried Edlund. The family homesteaded at Sweet Grass Hills, Montana where he grew up and was educated. He was married to Alice Ecklund August 16, 1924 at St. Paul, and worked there for two years. The couple moved to Litchville, where they farmed for ten years. In 1936 he started Edlund Motors at Binford, an automotive and farm implement business. Active in community affairs, he was a member of the Oddfellows Lodge and the Masonic order. He is survived by his wife, Alice, two sons, Eugene and Lyle, both of Binford, two brothers, Douglas, Santa Maria, California, and Louis of Valley City, and a sister, Mrs. Clarence (Mayme) Nybeck, Nome. He also leaves 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. A brother, a sister, a daughter, Joyce, and 2 grandsons preceded him in death. Quam-Plaisted-Cushman Funeral Homes.
