Kenneth was born January 24,1933 at Harrison to Lester and Vena (Smith) Taylor. He attended and graduated from the public schools in Harrison. In 1951 he enlisted in the Navy and served in Italy and North Africa and was honorably discharged in 1955. On Christmas Day, 1956 he and Lea Lu Brewster were united in marriage. To this union two children were born, Marvin K. Taylor of Denver and Deborah Eirich of Kearney. Kenneth attended Southeast Community College of Milford, in 1958 and 1959. He returned to Harrison in 1959 to assume the position of Postmaster. He held that job for 30 years, retiring in 1989. He loved his family and friends and spending time with them. He was a member of V.F.W. Post 7970, and Elks Club. His survivors include his wife: Lea Lu Taylor of Harrison; son: Marvin Taylor and special friend Kathy Angelino of Denver, Colo. daughter Deborah and husband Terry Eirich of Kearney; sisters: Phyllis Buckley of Harrison, Marian Palmer of Selah Wash., Ellen Moody of Tuscon, Ariz., Joann Hack of Gering; four grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents and his brother Eldon Taylor. Arrangements have been placed in the care of Chamberlain Chapel of Crawford.
