He passed away August 16, 2016, at Mitchell Village Care Center in Mitchellville. Kenny served with the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion Post #155 in Mitchellville, the Masonic Lodge of Altoona, the Moose Lodge of Newton, the VFW of Cambowda, Post #11575, Amvets of Des Moines, Post #0002, National Arbor, NRA, and a member of Santiago United Methodist Church. Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly J. Bailey (Sparks); his parents, Lloyd and Hazel Bailey; daughter, Ceann Bailey; one sister; six brothers; one grandson; and one great grandson. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 20, 2016, at Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th Street SW, Altoona, Iowa. Funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 22, 2016 at Santiago United Methodist Church, 8050 NE 109th Street, Mitchellville, IA with burial to immediately follow at Franklin Township Cemetery.
