Born May 29, 1920 in Gardner, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Kenneth P. and Ruth C. Routzahn Plank. He was employed at Beckley's Dairy for twenty-six years, Glaze Maryland Orchards for twenty-five years and organist at Salem Reformed Church for fifty-one years. Born May 29, 1920 in Gardner, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Kenneth P. and Ruth C. Routzahn Plank. He was employed at Beckley's Dairy for twenty-six years, Glaze Maryland Orchards for twenty-five years and organist at Salem Reformed Church for fifty-one years. He was a member of Salem Reformed Church. He was a member of the Hagerstown Civic Band and played trombone for the Old Williamsport Firemans Band. He is survived by his wife, Mary Beckley Plank; two sons, Kenneth Perry Plank and wife Sharon of Scranton, Pennsylvania and Edwin Louis Plank and wife Eunice of Hagerstown, Maryland; one sister, Virginia Bidle of Middletown, Maryland; three brothers, Don Plank of Alabama, Stanley Plank of Portsmouth, Virginia and Bruce Plank of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one grandson, Scott Stotelmyer and wife Katie of Hagerstown, Maryland; two great grandchildren, Kasayus and Leah. He was preceded in death by one brother. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Salem Reformed Church, 13182 Salem Church Road, Hagerstown, Maryland. The Rev. Steve Wagoner and Dr. Rev. Stephen D. Robison will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown, Maryland from 6 to 9 p.m. The family requests the omission of flowers. Memorial donations can be made to Salem Reformed Cemetery Fund, 13182 Salem Church Road, Hagerstown, Maryland 21740.
