Description	:	Kenneth J Lyon, 79, Union died at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines from a heart condition. Services were held at Calvary Baptist Church in Union. Burial was at the Eldora Cemetery in Eldora. The Rev. Darryl Carr officiated. He graduated from Whitten High School in 1932, and attended the University of Iowa. Survivors include his wife, daughters Rosemary and Beth, Marlyn Peet who was raised in the family home, sister Hoveta Callaway, four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
