The Moravia Union – Thursday June 08, 1944 – Page 4 OBITUARY— Kenneth Jay Argo, son of Roy and Ernestine Argo, was born Oct 26, 1941, at the St. Joseph's hospital in Centerville and passed away June 3, 1944, at 3 o'clock at the St. Joseph's hospital in Centerville at the age of two years seven months and eight days. Besides his parents, he leaves one brother, Dennis Roy, his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Argo and Mr. and Mrs. Harley Tisue; great grandparents, Mrs. Ida Argo, Mrs. Belle Sheldon, Walter Lemaster and Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Kelsey. He also leaves his uncles, aunts five small cousins, friends and playmates. Kenny was a precious little jewel given to us for a very short time but he will always live in our memories. A short scripture and prayer was given at the house before going to the Iconium Christian church where funeral services were held at 2:30 p. m., June 4, 1944, with the Rev. Kenneth Hunt officiating. Music was furnished by Nadine Winsler with Mrs. Charles Coffin at the piano. Songs were "Beckoning Hands," "God Will Take Care of You," and Brahm's "Cradle Song." Pallbearers were Carl Tisue, Clifford Tisue, Guy Argo and Russell Argo. Burial was in the Hillcrest cemetery. A sweet little tender blossom Bloomed in the garden of love 'Til an Angel came and plucked it, And carried it up above. For God had need of that little blossom, To brighten a corner up there. And though we shall always miss it, We all must learn to share.
