Description	:	Kenneth was born in Tekamah, Nebraska and lived in Onawa, Iowa. His mother and father both drowned when crossing the Missouri River when Kenneth was five years old. He and his brother and two sisters went to live at the Tabitha Orphan Home in Lincoln, Nebraska. It was custom then to let the children live with farm families during the summer, so when he was age 13 he stayed with the John Rengstorf family of Sterling, Nebraska. He was married to Minnie E. Wusk on April 14, 1938, at Tekamah, Nebraska. They lived and farmed in the Sterling area for many years. He retired in 1966. Survivors include one daughter, Barbara Engel; one daughter-in-law, Leila Beaver; 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter; and one sister, Grace Watten. Preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Beaver; his wife, Minnie, who died on Dec 7, 2003; his son Kenneth Beaver Jr.; one brother, Clark; and one sister, Irma.
