He was born July 18, 1938, in Pawnee to Donald and Lucy (Eastwood) Peacock. He grew up in Pawnee and was a 1956 graduate of Pawnee High School. Peacock Sr., 72, of Fremont died Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha. He was born July 18, 1938, in Pawnee to Donald and Lucy (Eastwood) Peacock. He grew up in Pawnee and was a 1956 graduate of Pawnee High School. He served in the U.S. Navy from Jan. 17, 1957, to Jan. 16, 1961. After his discharge, he moved to Omaha and later to Fremont. He worked in the drywall business and later worked with his brother, Henry. He started R & K Drywall in the late 1960s until 1997. He then hung garage doors until 2010. He married DeLoise Bisgard on June 10, 1960, in Oakland, Calif. He was a member of AARP and a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 200 of Fremont. Survivors include his wife, DeLoise; daughters, Kara Delp of Fremont and Danine (and husband, Joaquin) Guerrero Jr. of Bellevue; sons, Kenneth (and wife, Carmen) Peacock Jr. and Donald (and wife, Nikki) Peacock, all of Fremont, Dalton (and wife, Sonja) Peacock of Rapid City, S.D., and Kurt (and wife, Mary) Peacock of Bellevue; a brother, Bill (and wife, LaRae) Peacock of Idaho; sisters, Mary (and husband, Bill) Kellerman of Bellevue, Isabelle (and husband, Landis) Royce of Indiana and Edna (and husband, Duane) Smith of Omaha; 19 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Francis, Donald and Henry Peacock. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont with the Rev. Dan Heuer officiating. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today and 9-11 a.m. Friday at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Visitation will continue one hour prior to service time Friday at the church. Military honors will be conducted by the Fremont Honor Guard of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 854 and American Legion Post 20 following the funeral at the church. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery in Fremont. Memorials are suggested to Alzheimer's Research.
