The little fellow had been ailing seriously for the past two weeks with peritonitis. Every thing possible was done to bring the child back to health, but the ailment proved to be too strong for the child's strength. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. George Wash, pastor of the M. E. church, Tuesday afternoon. A short service was held at the home after which the procession went to the church in town where the sermon and song service were held. A large number of friends and relatives were present to help console the young father and mother in their bereavement. After the church service the little form was taken to the Phillips cemetery and tenderly laid to rest. The bereaved parents have the sincere sympathy of every one in this sad hour.
