He was born April 23, 1957 in Ottumwa, Iowa to Robert Arthur and Beverly JoAnn Ross McNiel. He graduated from Davis County High School in 1975. He married Dana Purdue and the couple had a daughter. They were later divorced. He had worked for Dexter in Fairfield. In his younger days, Kenneth enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was able to attend the Summer Paralympics and was proud of taking computer classes after suffering a disabling motorcycle accident. He is survived by a daughter, Haley Alexander of La Porte, Indiana (born in Bloomfield); sister, Linda (Brian) Harrington of Bloomfield; one grandchild, Mason Eugene Stone of La Porte; and two nephews, Spencer Lee Harrington of Bloomfield, Ross Jay (Melinda) Harrington of Greeley, Colorado. He was preceded in death by his parents. Kenneth’s wish was to be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
