Description	:	Kenneth Merle Wisecarver was born March 22, 1935 in Birch Tree, Missouri, the son of Clarence and Ethel (Lockman) Wisecarver. He passed away September 21, 2010 in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 75 years. He was united in marriage to Frances Louise Pulliam on February 15, 1958. To this union one son was born, Kenton Merle Wisecarver. Kenneth was saved and baptized, and was a member of First Baptist Church, Birch Tree, Missouri. He was a member of Woodside Lodge #387 in Thomasville, Missouri and served in many capacities, including Worshipful Master in 2000-2001. He dearly loved his lodge... Read More	Kenneth Merle Wisecarver was born March 22, 1935 in Birch Tree, Missouri, the son of Clarence and Ethel (Lockman) Wisecarver. He passed away September 21, 2010 in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 75 years. He was united in marriage to Frances Louise Pulliam on February 15, 1958. To this union one son was born, Kenton Merle Wisecarver. Kenneth was saved and baptized, and was a member of First Baptist Church, Birch Tree, Missouri. He was a member of Woodside Lodge #387 in Thomasville, Missouri and served in many capacities, including Worshipful Master in 2000-2001. He dearly loved his lodge and lodge brothers. Kenneth served his country, by leaving high school early, and joining the United States Air Force. Afterward he returned to Birch Tree, continued his education, and received his high school diploma. He was employed by Willys Jeep in Kansas City, Kansas for three years and later worked as a Correctional Officer at the Federal Prison in Leavenworth, Kansas. He then transferred to the U.S. Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri, from which he retired after 22 years of service. After moving to Birch Tree, Kenneth kept in contact with many of the friends he made at the Medical Center, meeting them for lunch as often as he could. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Donald and James; and one sister-in-law, Fern Wisecarver. He is survived by his son Kent of Birch Tree; granddaughter, Courtney Lynn Wisecarver; sister-in-law, Norma Wisecarver; three nieces, Paula Bishop and husband, Clark, Debbie Wisecarver, and Janet Sartin and husband, Mackie; and one nephew, Donnie Wisecarver. He also leaves behind a host of other family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials made to the Woodside Masonic Lodge #387, Thomasville, Missouri.
